Recognizing the urgency of the targets contained in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which is mixed with sincere motivation\u00a0 and strong enthusiasm in supporting the commitment of the government of the Republic of Indonesia, SE Rector No. 33\/UN7.P\/SE\/2020 regarding the implementation of SDGs in the University of Diponegoro presents as a starting point for the establishment of the SDGs Center at the University of Diponegoro.However, Diponegoro University has carried out activities and forged partnerships on sustainable development far behind this milestone.<\/span><\/p>\n

The SDGs Center of Diponegoro University serves as a focal point to redefine, sharpen and continuously increase the university\u2019s effort and commitment to environmental sustainability and development. The SDGs Center of Diponegoro University brings together the multi-disciplinary intellectual capacity within the university as a valuable asset that can play a strategic role in driving the achievement of SDGs implementation in Indonesia by 2030. The SDGs Center of Diponegoro University has a vision to become \u201ca center of excellence for the university that can play an active role in encouraging achievement of the SDGs in Indonesia by 2030.\u201d In 2021 SDGs Center Universitas Diponegoro has successfully joined the SDSN Network which is a global network that mobilizes global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical solutions for sustainable development, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Denny Nugroho Sugianto adalah dosen di Departemen Oseanografi, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Diponegoro. Penelitiannya berfokus pada dinamika oseanografi dan atmosfer, mitigasi bencana, perubahan iklim, rekayasa pesisir, perlindungan pesisir dengan membangun bersama alam, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir. Beliau merupakan bagian dari Pusat Studi Rehabilitasi Pesisir dan Mitigasi Bencana (CoREM), Universitas Diponegoro. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dessy Ariyanti adalah dosen di Departemen Teknik Kimia, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Diponegoro. Ia meraih gelar doktor dalam bidang Teknik Kimia dan Material dari University of Auckland, Selandia Baru. Penelitiannya berfokus pada pengembangan advance material untuk pengolahan air dan air limbah, energi terbarukan, dan sistem penyimpanan energi. Ia merupakan peneliti di Center of Biomass and Renewable Energy serta di Advance Material Laboratory di Universitas Diponegoro. Ia juga aktif dalam program pengembangan masyarakat terkait konversi sampah plastik dan sampah organik menjadi produk bernilai. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Diana Nur Afifah adalah dosen di Departemen Ilmu Gizi, Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas Diponegoro. Fokus penelitiannya adalah pada gizi dan pangan fungsional. Saat ini ia menjabat sebagai Ketua CENURE (Center of Nutrition Research) Universitas Diponegoro. Penelitiannya banyak mendukung pencapaian SDGs, khususnya Tujuan 2: Tanpa Kelaparan dan Tujuan 3: Kehidupan Sehat dan Sejahtera. Hasil penelitiannya telah dipublikasikan di jurnal internasional bereputasi. Ia juga sering diundang sebagai pembicara dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terkait tujuan tersebut di televisi dan radio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Ambariyanto adalah profesor di Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan. Ia menjabat sebagai Wakil Rektor Bidang Kerja Sama Internasional dan Riset Universitas Diponegoro. Ia memperoleh gelar master di bidang ilmu kelautan dari University of Wales dan gelar PhD dalam ekologi laut dari University of Sydney. Wiwandari Handayani adalah profesor madya di Departemen Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota, Universitas Diponegoro, serta peneliti di SDGs Center universitas tersebut. Ia menjabat sebagai Kepala Laboratorium Pengembangan Wilayah dan Manajemen Lingkungan sejak 2012. Penelitiannya berfokus pada ketangguhan wilayah dan kota, terutama dalam konteks pengurangan risiko bencana, adaptasi perubahan iklim, dan tata kelola. Ia pernah menjadi bagian dari tim Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN) \u2013 program Rockefeller di Kota Semarang dan menjadi koordinator M&E untuk beberapa proyek pada 2011\u20132014. Sejak 2015, ia menjabat sebagai Deputi Chief Resilience Officer (CRO) Semarang dalam program Global Resilient Cities Network.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bulan Prabawani adalah dosen sekaligus peneliti di Departemen Administrasi Bisnis, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik. Ia menyelesaikan pendidikan sarjana dan magister di bidang Administrasi Bisnis dan Manajemen di UNDIP, serta meraih gelar doktor di bidang bisnis dari Edith Cowan University, Australia. Sejak 2016, ia menjabat sebagai Ketua Departemen Administrasi Bisnis dan aktif melakukan penelitian tentang Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) dan keberlanjutan bisnis, di mana sejak 2014 ia telah memperoleh hibah kompetitif nasional untuk penelitian dan publikasi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rukuh Setiadi adalah dosen senior di Departemen Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota, Universitas Diponegoro, dan peneliti di SDGs Center universitas tersebut. Ia berlatar belakang perencanaan kota (UNDIP), meraih gelar master dalam manajemen lingkungan (Flinders University), dan PhD dalam kebijakan lingkungan perkotaan dari Griffith University. Minat risetnya mencakup keterkaitan antara urbanisasi dan tata kelola dalam berbagai isu kontemporer seperti perubahan iklim, ekonomi hijau, dan ketahanan pangan. Ia juga meneliti manajemen metropolitan dan baru-baru ini menjadi konsultan untuk Bank Dunia dalam studi kasus solusi pengembangan metropolitan di Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sugiharto adalah profesor madya di Departemen Peternakan, Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian, Universitas Diponegoro. Ia memiliki latar belakang produksi ternak (UNDIP), meraih gelar master di bidang agrobiologi (kesehatan dan kesejahteraan hewan) dari Aarhus University, dan PhD dalam ilmu ternak (imunologi dan mikrobiologi) dari universitas yang sama. Penelitiannya berfokus pada nutrisi, fisiologi, dan kesehatan unggas, serta kualitas dan keamanan produk unggas. Sejak 2018, ia menjabat sebagai Kepala Laboratorium Fisiologi dan Biokimia. Selain riset, ia juga aktif dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat pedesaan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wahyu Widodo adalah dosen dan peneliti di Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis, Universitas Diponegoro. Ia juga menjadi penasihat di Bappeda Provinsi Jawa Tengah untuk program pengentasan kemiskinan. Dari tahun 2017 hingga 2019, ia ditugaskan di Kantor Staf Presiden Republik Indonesia sebagai penasihat untuk memberikan analisis terhadap isu-isu strategis ekonomi Indonesia, khususnya di sektor pertanian, ketahanan pangan, kemiskinan, dan situasi makroekonomi terkini.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muhammad Helmi adalah dosen senior dan peneliti di Departemen Oseanografi, Universitas Diponegoro, serta peneliti di SDGs Center Universitas Diponegorot. Ia merupakan Kepala Kajian Rehabilitasi Pesisir dan Mitigasi Bencana sejak 2018. Fokus penelitiannya adalah penginderaan jauh terapan dan pemodelan geospasial, khususnya di lingkungan pesisir, rehabilitasi, dan studi mitigasi bencana. Ia menyelesaikan pendidikan sarjana di bidang geografi (UGM), magister dalam sumber daya pesisir dan laut (IPB), dan meraih gelar doktor dalam manajemen sumber daya pesisir dari Universitas Diponegoro. Ia aktif dalam kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan penginderaan jauh dan pemodelan geospasial sejak 2006.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teuku Afrizal adalah dosen senior di Departemen Administrasi Publik, Universitas Diponegoro, dan peneliti di SDGs Center Universitas Diponegoro. Ia pernah menjadi Junior Research Fellow di Center for Asian Studies (IKMAS), Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia; dosen senior di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Kemanusiaan; serta Senior Research Fellow di Borneo Research Institute for Indigenous Studies (BorIIS), Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Ia meraih gelar Ph.D. dalam studi pembangunan dan lingkungan dengan topik partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah domestik. Minat penelitiannya meliputi studi ekosistem perkotaan seperti polusi kota, kota layak huni, kota aman, dan komunitas mandiri. Selain itu, ia ahli dalam bidang sosiologi dan antropologi lingkungan, teori sosial, dan demografi.<\/span><\/p>\n
