Curriculum

The School of Sustainability curriculum is designed to build awareness and action across generations and sectors. It offers three main classes: a 2-day program for university and high school students on Climate Change Impacts, Mitigation and Adaptation, SDGs, and Social-Environmental Impacts; a 2-day program for teachers and lecturers titled Empowering Educators to Drive SDGs in Education; and a 3-day corporate program, the Corporate Sustainability Leadership Bootcamp, which equips business leaders with sustainable strategies to create positive social and environmental impact.

Target, Output, Goal

The School of Sustainability is a strategic initiative by the SDGs Center of Diponegoro University to address global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, and social inequality. It aims to nurture future leaders committed to sustainable development through collaboration among academics, practitioners, and communities. More than a learning center, it serves as a platform for real-world action and innovation, reinforcing UNDIP’s commitment to building a greener, more inclusive, and sustainable Indonesia.

This program also strengthens Diponegoro University’s position in global sustainability rankings, including the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, THE Impact Rankings, and UI GreenMetric. Through its focus on education, environmental action, and partnerships, the School of Sustainability enhances UNDIP’s contributions to SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Conducted monthly for 2–5 days, the program engages diverse participants—from students, educators, and local governments to industries and NGOs—combining theoretical learning with best practices and case-based approaches to create tangible social and environmental impact.
